far off limbs

stomach weakening

tree limbs beckoning

there are rings made of plums around my eyes

imperfections overlooked

dew drops mistook

it is morning, though the curtains are drawn

for the heart knows no difference

between long nights & distance

when the table's four legs crave your two

and the sun cannot rise

when the iris denies

to wish away dialled back emotion
